Are you flexible enough to pick up and start mobilizing to an incident anywhere in the United States within 4 hours of a dispatch call? Do you enjoy the seasonal life, long road trips and camping? Are you looking for worthwhile work that serves a great purpose?  This job might be for you! We provide a meaningful service to some hard working people across the western half of the United States. Those people are wild land fire fighters. We cook up the fuel and provide dining services so these heroes can fight the fires.

This opportunity is not for everyone though. The job demands 10-16 hour days, early start times, overnights, triple shifts and camping outside every night.  There are very few days off during the peak season, you must have availability to travel and the flexibility to work on fire after fire throughout the summer without returning home for weeks or even longer at a time.

Perks of the job - OVERTIME. When volume is high... you can average 12 hour days. That can add up to 84 hours A WEEK or more if the demand exists and you are a great asset to the company. Employees are fed like a fire fighter every day! There are end of season bonus opportunities. Then there are some perks that don't pay but feel really good....Road trips with the team, long drives, great views, great stories and time with some really good people. Not to mention, it's a great cause!
